Justin Brown

Justin Brown is a painter and mixed media artist based in New York City.  His work focuses on juxtaposition of color, depth, and texture.  Within his abstracts, paint is often added and subtracted simultaneously using a variety of tools including some that have been created/modified to support a specific project.

Justin draws on numerous influences ranging from the rich cultures and colorful traditional art experienced while growing up in New Mexico to the dynamism, diversity, and power of major 24-hour cities worldwide.  His work is featured in multiple corporate offices and private residences in the United States and UK as well as in Professional Artist Magazine.

Justin has earned a bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University and a master’s degree from Cornell University.
